Please try this simple and 100% free way to become more fluent in English. 

Try talking aloud to yourself when you are doing daily things. This will help you learn how to think in English.

It will also make it easy to speak in English. It’s a great way to study at home or at work.

For example, you can say something like:

‘I am walking down the stairs and I’m going into the kitchen. Now I am making a cup of tea. I am pouring the boiling water over the tea. Now I am pouring the tea into my cup. I like tea because it refreshes me.’

or

‘I need to go shopping. I will make a shopping list now. So, what do I need…?’

and so on.

Make sure that you talk while you are actually doing these things. So your English speaking is exactly synchronised with your brain.

Try to do this for at least 30 minutes each day. But any amount of time, no matter how small, will also be effective.

I know this method sounds a little unusual, but try it, it works. I developed this method when practising my French speaking and it helped me a lot. I have seen it work very well for my English students too.

If you prefer not to speak aloud, you can try to talk to yourself in your head – but if you speak aloud, the method is much more effective. 

No matter how advanced you are at English, I think you will be surprised at how many things you find it difficult to say, so this method also highlights gaps in your active vocabulary – in other words, the vocabulary that you can use confidently in conversation.
