1. At last there is a vaccine against the coronavirus. In fact, there are several different kinds of vaccines, which work in different ways.

5. The answer to question 4 (above) was new to me until I started preparing the questions for this preposition quiz. I was not aware of the origin of the name COVID-19 until now.
6. This pandemic has had a devastating effect on the economies of most countries in the world. It will take a long time to recover from the effects of the virus on these economies
7. One of the first measures that was taken to try to halt the spread of the virus was to put populations in lockdown.
8. If you come into contact with anyone who has symptoms of coronavirus, you have to self-isolate for ten days in case you have become infected with the virus.
9. Many people have started working from home instead of travelling to their place of work, in order to stop the spread of the virus.
10. I am writing this quiz on 18 December 2020. This difficult year is nearly at an end. I hope we all have a much better year in 2021.
